Lonely Loon

No one is there to say you hi,
You can’t expect even a decent goodbye,
All alone in this world you are,
And no one cries when you’re far.

Far away in an alien place,
Where life is running at a blinding pace,
No one bothers how you live,
They just ask if you got anything to give.

Friendship is also a business these days,
Sometimes indirectly and sometimes in direct ways,
It’s all about what you give and take,
Even the promises and commitments are sometimes fake.

Whoever you get close to leaves you alone,
Lonely again you are on your own,
Nobody has time to comfort your wounds,
They even say they have their own bounds.

And love is such a dreaded word,
Its meaning is getting day by day absurd,
They will leave you abruptly one day,
All of a sudden ,unexpectedly, midway.

Nobody will let you freely dream,
Envying they turn green,
They love to break our fancy world,
And with all the dreams shattered.

All alone you cry,
Without tears; all dry,
You can’t even show your emotion you know,
They will guffaw at your sentiments your passion.

Now when you have realised all this oh loon,
No one is coming later or soon,
And there is nothing that can be done,
You have to live and die alone.

Night

The mood is pensive,
but beer is too expensive,
finally you have to manage with cold drink,
writing your diary with red ink,
all the night without a wink.

About the things you can't tell anyone,
the things about that special 'someone',
And many other blues,
which give you nauseating flues.

The things in life you did wrong,
which proved you were not enough strong,
but why did it take so long,
to hear the defeat's jarring gong.

Sometimes you were stubborn and rude,
You let your emotions go nude,
And showed the bad part of you,
That frightened your loved ones too.

You lost the love, the care,
the joy of being a perfect pair,
the feeling which can't be expressed in word,
making you feel you are not alone in this world.

You think sometimes life is too unfair,
Everything you had goes like ash in air,
You see it was right there,
And now there isn't a layer.

Then you think of your biggest defeat,
When you were almost taken off your feet,
You had to face so much embarrassment,
because of you misjudgment.

This could go all night long,
But the red ink didn't last long,
And redness has appeared in the sky,
It's time you should give sleep a try.

Can't remember to forget you - poem

I wake up today
with a strong resolution,
I will forget you today,
I had strong determination.

I will have to stop thinking of you,
The way I always used to do,
This had to be done,
Coz you're forever gone.

I started by deleting your snaps,
They might remind of you perhaps.
Then I took your greeting cards,
I planned to throw them though it was hard.

There were numerous things,
About each a saga I could sing,
there were memories smeared over them
For our love was true not a game.

But I have to forget you,
I have to forget you,
I shouted to myself,
loud enough to be heard by elf.

I packed the stuffs in an envelope,
which then became a sack.
I threw it into garbage
And successfully came back.

Yo yes ya,
I did it yeah,
I felt relieved,
Every memento got concealed.

The day was pretty fine,
From that afternoon till nine,
Tired I had to go to sleep,
No today I didn't have to weep.

Coz I was free from the pain and guilt,
Which I always had felt,
And today I was over with it,
Thinking this my eyes lit.

And I got such a relieved sleep,
that I couldn't get up even on alarm's beep
i slept like dead man
under my slow moving fan.

I opened my eyes at two,
And it struck in mind at one go,
what had I done,
And in my mind turbulence just begun.

I ran to the garbage,
to see it was still there,
two dogs were fighting for it,
and I joined the fight for it.

After a big struggle I won,
with a few scratches it was done,
I sighed with relief and elation,
To win my prized possession.

I can't tell how ecstatic I was,
And I finally reached a conclusion,
I can't remember to forget you,
It's just impossible to forget you.

Apology - A Poem

Ya I was bad, I was mad,
I created all the problems you had,
But now I’m very sad,
Please come back to this fat arrogant lad,
Coz I’m sitting in your fad.

I was an idiot brat,
And an immature fat rat,
And when you left I found,
I was wrong everywhere all around.

I let you go for such reasons,
Which were holding no position,
Now when you are gone,
What else I can do than to sit and frown.

But even after years passed,
I remember the way you caressed,
Last night remembering those I cried
The tears haven’t still dried.

Those small gentle hands,
The 3 no foot,
The dolphin ear rings and the strands,
And you gorgeous blue suit.

Those big eyes made me crazy,
And the strand of hanging hair,
Oh! I wish you were here,
And reply to all my questions in vow,
No no no, not here not now.

The college canteen coffees,
And moving all around,
Eating chow in MBA canteen and taking your videos,
And my N-series making scream sound.

Hutch and Airtel fight was bound.
Because even among the most similar people differences are found,
I’ve changed my cellphone to Sony,
And will take Hutch connection,
I’ll do anything, and change every bit of mine
Just come back to me I’ll be on cloud no nine.

You took me places very high very tall,
I fumbled but didn’t fall,
coz I was having you benign presence with me,
Who gave me happiness in spree.

If ever by God’s grace I get my second chance,
I’ll show how much I love you and dance,
I’ll die with happiness and jump with joy,
And will cry like I never cry,
I’d never let you down,
And will give you the princess crown.

I’ll hold you in my and crush you,
And assimilate your particles into,
Such that we get into one,
away from everyone

I’ll hold you in my arms,
And make you go merry-go-round ride,
And protect you from this world,
All the tides and all the ebbs.

I never thought you’d leave me forever,
But I'll make a lot of endeavour,
I’ll visit ‘Mecca-Medina’ and do ’16-somvaar’ fasting,
Coz you know, our love is not lasting.

I will build Taj Mahals for you,
And for you I’ll write books,
Be MF hussain for you,
I’ll catch you with every hooks.

But I know this is never gonna happen,
As you said in you last words,
As I re-re-read the chats and see you pics
You won’t come that is fixed.

But I'll be loving you like hell,
And say sorry for words that fell,
I know it hurt you like sharp nail,
Just give me one last last chance, I promise it'll never fail.

The Punishment - A Poem

What to mourn about and whom to scold,
everything happened the same - what you told,
i never cared to listen and see- i was too blind,
and had to go through this testing time
where you left me left me all alone and behind,

i am a past and you do not care,
the moments we spent here and there,
it was such an eternal bliss,
but all ended just like this,
i still remember out last kiss,
on 18th April oh miss.

maybe you love someone else,
but how does it matter in my case,
i am a blind lover and can not see,
that you are going far, very far away from me.

so far that you will never return,
and our story will be a bygone,
you will forget everything,
as if i were nothing.

but i will still remember you everyday,
and love like you are not far away,
and I'll still praise your sweet smile,
every moment every second every while.

and will love you till death,
in me you just keep your faith,
this is the only passion i hold,
but kept it totally untold.

i will do the job i promised to myself,
the pay off the debts i have on myself,
and will take the route of deep slumber,
and will never return to this earth's amber.

but heaven or hell wherever is fate,
I'll go there and wait,
please talk to me there,
i am incomplete without you everywhere.

whom to scold and whom to blame,
the punishment was written in my name,
to live every moment with dusty air,
without you life's too unfair.

Try Not To Cry - Poem

Sometimes i weep without making any sound,
retrospecting what i lost and found,
and when i see the things went by,
I try my best not to cry.

But it's not always a manageable thing,
To stay calm even after knowing everything,
Watching that I have lost it all,
From the summit I had a big fall.

It dwindled through my hand,
Just like the small particles of sand,
I opened my fist and was shocked,
it had only cracks, Oh my God!!!

Between the cracks was my flowing blood,
Like the sudden rush of flash flood,
It was beyond my expectation,
Mixing the colours I got a strange combination,
which was nothing but hatred and humiliation.

Wikipedia:

The English word love can have a variety of related but distinct meanings in different contexts. Often, other languages use multiple words to express some of the different concepts which English relies mainly on love to encapsulate; one example is the plurality of Greek words for "love". Cultural differences in conceptualizing love thus make it doubly difficult to establish any universal definition.[4]

Although the nature or essence of love is a subject of frequent debate, different aspects of the word can be clarified by determining what isn't "love". As a general expression of positive sentiment (a stronger form of like), love is commonly contrasted with hate (or neutral apathy); as a less sexual and more emotionally intimate form of romantic attachment, love is commonly contrasted with lust; and as an interpersonal relationship with romantic overtones, love is commonly contrasted with friendship, though other definitions of the word love may be applied to close friendships in certain contexts.

When discussed in the abstract, love usually refers to interpersonal love, an experience felt by a person for another person. Love often involves caring for or identifying with a person or thing, including oneself (cf. narcissism).

In addition to crosscultural differences in understanding love, ideas about love have also changed greatly over time. Some historians date modern conceptions of romantic love to courtly Europe during or after the Middle Ages, though the prior existence of romantic attachments is attested by ancient love poetry.[5]

Because of the complex and abstract nature of love, discourse on love is commonly reduced to a thought-terminating cliché, and there are a number of common proverbs regarding love, from Virgil's "Love conquers all" to The Beatles' "All you need is love". Bertrand Russell describes love as a condition of "absolute value", as opposed to relative value. Theologian Thomas Jay Oord said that to love is to "act intentionally, in sympathetic response to others, to promote overall well-being".
